Okay, I really have to say that now.
I still do not understand how some people really think more guns will prevent people from killing others by running amok or something similar to that.
I have NEVER met anyone in Germany who owns a gun and I have NEVER heard of anyone getting shot around where I live, and my neighborhood would probably be considered “dangerous” by many Americans.
Yes, kids have gotten shot in german schools too, but guess why, because the parents, who had a hunting license (which is hard to get) didn’t lock their guns away securely. Do you really think that handing out guns to school staff will make it any better? The only thing that helps is GETTING RID OF GUNS in households where they don’t belong. Stop that self-justice shit, it’ll eventually end in a civil-war.
But hey, what did I expect…
If you can name one logical pro-guns argument that I have to accept, I will never say anything about it ever again.
I was looking forward to women’s day a lot. I thought I’d meet appreciation and find acceptance and support, but well, I was wrong.
Not only did not one guy remember what day it was, they just laughed about it.
I’m not asking for every guy to open the door for me (well actually yes I am but I think I have to give it up) and treat me like a weak and vulnerable sugar cube, I’m just asking for appreciation. I want men to say: “Hey, women are strong. See the things they do every day, how they keep a good balance between work and family, how they can talk about their emotions openly and are just so diplomatic? They seem like they could solve every problem in the world! Man, I respect that!”
That is all I’m asking for, but maybe I’m just too romantic.
I’m scared of watching SKYFALL, because if I do, I’ll get this movie-craving again. It happened when I watched Batman and HP7.1/.2, and I know it is definitely going to happen again. It’s gonna be one of the best movies of the year, and by the way, it’ll be my first Bond ever.
